February is Venus' time [Now in space]

During the month of February, Venus, the second planet of Earth, approaches the western evening sky, shining its brightest light this year.

Venus has many names. When it shines brightly in the eastern dawn sky, it is called the 'morning star'. When it appears in the western evening sky, it is called the 'dog food star'. It means that it is a star that can be seen in the western sky when you feed your dog dinner when the smoke from cooking rice rises from the chimney in the evening after the sun has set.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) described it as 'February is the month of love'. There is a reason why Venus shines brightly in the western sky in February. It is because its altitude decreases. It also means that it is approaching the Earth more closely.

NASA said, "Venus will shine the brightest this year in February," and "It will slowly descend from the high altitude it was at the end of January and continue to shine dazzlingly until early March."

Venus also changes like the Earth's moon. It goes through several stages. Unlike the Earth's moon, which shines the brightest when it is full, Venus is brightest when it is in a crescent shape.

NASA explained that this is because it is determined by distance. In other words, when Venus is on the opposite side of the Sun and is much farther away from Earth, it looks like a full moon.

On the other hand, when it gets closer to Earth, it looks like a crescent, and the planet looks much larger in the sky. This is because it shines brighter when it is closer to Earth.

NASA mentioned the Valentine's Day proverb, "The goddess of love shines the brightest when she is close," while explaining Venus's position in February.
