Figure AI unveils robot intelligence 'Helix'... "Eggs in the refrigerator, flour in the basket"
American humanoid robot startup FigureAI unveiled its artificial intelligence (AI) model 'Helix', designed to think and act like humans, on the 20th (local time). FigureAI
CEO Brett Adcock posted a video of a humanoid robot doing kitchen work according to human instructions on LinkedIn, saying, "Introducing the latest AI, Helix, that thinks like humans."

In the video, the humanoid robots move ingredients such as eggs and flour to the refrigerator and baskets according to type. They recognize and classify the ingredients without a person having to tell them to do so.
In particular, ingredients that need to be refrigerated are put in the refrigerator, and ingredients that can be stored at room temperature are organized separately.
It is noteworthy that humanoid robots equipped with Helix made their own judgments about human behavior, such as returning from shopping and organizing groceries.
CEO Adcock explained about Helix, "Introducing robots into homes requires gradual improvement in capabilities, but Helix can be applied to almost all household items."
Figure AI has been working on the Helix project for the past year to implement robots that think and work like humans. Just as Tesla applied its own AI model to its humanoid robot 'Optimus,' Figure AI also developed Helix.

CEO Adcock explained, "Helix understands speech, reasoning through problems, and can identify all objects without training or code, just like humans do," and "Helix has been able to identify almost all household items in tests."
Figure AI, along with Tesla, is considered a leading company that has announced the mass production of humanoid robots. Its clients include German automobile company BMW, and recently, FigureAI's humanoid robots have begun learning on the manufacturing site.
Adcock, the CEO, also stated, "We plan to supply 100,000 humanoid robots by 2029." FigureAI
attracted an investment of 675 million dollars (approximately 968.7 billion won) last year to build manufacturing facilities. At the time, it was reported that not only Nvidia, Microsoft, and OpenAI, but also LG participated in the investment. Koo Kwang-mo, the CEO of LG, also visited FigureAI in person in June of last year.
