Hike, Run & Gun Shooting 'Project Tachyon' Global Launch on the 14th

Hike (CEO Masataka Mikami) announced on the 13th that it will be releasing its new game 'Project Tachyon' globally through Steam on the 14th.



Project Tachyon is an action shooting game that combines rogue-lite play with a SF worldview. It was developed by Park Min-woo, CEO of domestic indie developer Studio N9. The game received favorable responses when it released a trial version at Steam Next Fest, G-Star 2024, and Burning Beaver 2024 last year.

Project Tachyon is a story about the main character, special agent 'Sigma', becoming a member of the secret Project Tachyon when the world is on the verge of collapse due to the rebellion of the artificial intelligence 'Mainframe Omega', going back in time to obtain information about the future and change the past.



Users can enjoy action shooting using various close-range and long-range weapons and grow their characters through over 200 genetic enhancement systems. In particular, the 'malicious gene' system is an element that adds tension to the challenging rogue-lite play.



The game features Japanese voice acting by famous Japanese voice actors Yu Kobayashi and Yu Wakui, as well as Korean voice acting for Korean fans. Project Tachyon will be available for official purchase on Steam starting at 10 a.m. on the 14th, and a special discount promotion will be applied for two weeks after launch.
