Nexon's 'Dave the Diver' Mobile Version to be Serviced in China

According to the game industry on the 20th, Nexon has been conducting pre-registrations for the mobile version of 'Dave the Diver' through the Chinese app market TapTap since early last month. The service in China was handled by XD, a Chinese company that published 'Girls' Frontline' and 'Azur Lane'.



As of that day, the number of market pre-registrations exceeded 540,000, and the number of 'Wishes' also recorded 530,000. According to Nexon, the game also ranked first in pre-registration rankings on iOS on the 24th of last month.



The development team stated through TapTap, "This game will be a complete port of the PC version, and all users will be able to experience a true underwater adventure on mobile," and "Some original content is also being prepared, and more Chinese server event plans are also being prepared."

Nexon introduced 'Dave the Diver' through PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation platforms in 2023. The game was so successful that it sold 5 million copies worldwide as of December last year. Service for the mobile version outside of China has not yet been decided.



A Nexon official said, "We are preparing the mobile version to provide the 'Dave the Diver' experience to more users," adding, "We will give priority to China, where demand has been high, but we are also considering launching it in various regions in the future."
