Samsung Electronics Launches New 55-inch OLED TV with AI Function

Samsung Electronics announced on the 12th that it is releasing a new 55-inch OLED TV (55SF85) with significantly enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) functions.

This new product is characterized by the large number of new AI functions of Samsung TV in 2025.



The 2025 Samsung OLED TV is equipped with an 'AI Smart Home' function that comprehensively analyzes the user's lifestyle patterns, the status of home devices, the weather, and indoor temperature, and suggests actions that fit the user's lifestyle and home environment.



When the indoor air quality is poor, it suggests operating the air purifier, or recommends closing the blinds for cooling efficiency when cooling with an air conditioner.



The 'Home Monitoring' function has also been newly applied, and provides real-time alarms about the security situation at home by utilizing the TV's sensors and cameras based on on-device AI. If abnormal movement is detected while the TV is off, an alarm is sent to the user's mobile device or another TV.



When you press the newly added AI button on the 2025 TV remote control, the 'Click to Search' function is activated, allowing you to receive recommendations for programs similar to the content you are watching or check information about characters.



With the 'Click to Search' function, all processes are performed on the TV screen with a single button on the remote control without having to open a separate search window or use a mobile device, allowing you to obtain information without interrupting the flow of watching. With



'AI Mode', AI recognizes the content by genre, such as movies, sports, and general, that the user is watching, provides customized picture quality, and analyzes the brightness of the content and the surrounding environment to adjust the brightness to the optimal brightness for the screen.



In addition, AI separates and extracts the sound of the content into dialogue, music, and sound effects, and then optimizes each sound according to the indoor environment and content characteristics.



This new OLED TV model can be purchased through the 'AI All-in-One' rate plan of the 'AI Subscription Club'. Including card benefits, you can purchase a Samsung AI TV for around 10,000 won per month, and the free repair service period is extended to 5 years.



The factory price of this new product is 2.19 million won.
