Com2uS 'Summoners War Korea-Japan Super Match 2025', Team Korea Wins for 2 Consecutive Years
Korea-Japan Super Match 2025 is the official rivalry match for 'Summoners War: Sky Arena' (hereinafter referred to as Summoners War), which Com2uS (CEO Nam Jae-kwan) has held annually since 2023. This year, it was held at 'Space O' in Tokyo, Japan at 12 PM on the 8th.

The scene was filled with local fans who arrived at the stadium from the early morning to cheer on the players. In Korea, a viewing party to cheer on Team Korea was held at the IFC Mall CGV in Yeouido, Seoul, where around 200 fans attended to watch the game together and participate in on-site events, continuing their enthusiastic cheering.
The match was broadcast live on the official YouTube channels of both countries, and in Korea, Kim Gyu-hwan, Shim Yang-hong, and Skeet provided commentary, vividly conveying the atmosphere of the scene. In particular, since the two teams traded wins and losses in the previous competitions, much attention was focused on the direction of this year's championship trophy from fans of both countries.
Team Korea quickly took the lead from the first part. In the first round, the '20-Star Battle', Korea's ZZI-SOONG won 2-0 against Japan's KANITAMA. In the second round, the '2-on-2 Battle', where Korea's SCHOLES! and PURE.LUCK! and Japan's ETOWARU and VISHA10 formed their respective teams, Team Japan won and counterattacked, but in the third round, 'SWC Mode', KUROMI's fierce attack hit OSSERU, ending in Team Korea's victory.
The second part was held as a 'Winner's Consecutive Wins Match', where all players on one team competed until they were defeated. First, Korea's IROHA defeated OSADASAN, and then Japan's ETOWARU, who came up next, stopped their winning streak, creating a tense match from the start. However, Korea's KUROMI single-handedly defeated the next four players, from ETOWARU to the last global powerhouse OSSERU, leading Team Korea to victory in the second half, clinching the championship and avenging their loss in the first tournament held in Tokyo.
For the MVP award, where the players from both teams directly select the opposing team's winners, KUROMI, who led Team Korea to victory, and ETOWARU from Team Japan were selected. A total prize pool of $12,000 (approximately 17.4 million won) was awarded to the winning Team Korea and the MVPs of both teams.
Meanwhile, Com2uS, following the successful conclusion of the Korea-Japan Super Match 2025, is also preparing to host the 'Summoners War World Arena Championship 2025', a stage for summoners from around the world, and plans to continue the heat of 'Summoners War' esports.
