SphereX was originally scheduled to launch on the 28th of last month, but was postponed seven times. It was finally scheduled to launch on the 11th at 12:10 PM (Korean time) aboard the Falcon 9 rocket from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, but this has been postponed again.



An official from the NASA said, "The launch of SphereX, scheduled for 12:10 PM on the 11th, was canceled about 40 minutes before launch due to weather conditions." "It is scheduled to launch again at 12:10 PM on the 12th, but there is a possibility that the launch schedule will change again depending on local conditions."



Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the multiple launch delays were due to problems with the launch vehicle, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.



A problem was found with a specific component needed to cushion the impact experienced by the spacecraft during the Falcon 9 rocket's ascent. They are taking the time to inspect it to resolve it.



It has been reported that a leak was found in the pressure device of the 'fairing', the cover that encases the SphereX.
