Nexon to send Korean national team to global competition 'FC Pro Masters 2025'
Nexon (Co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 30th that the Korean national team will participate in the 'FC Pro Masters 2025', a global competition for 'FC Online' and 'FC Mobile' on May 8th.
FC Pro Masters 2025 is a national competition in which players from five countries - Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam - of FC Online and FC Mobile will compete for a total prize pool of $180,000. It will be held at the DN Coliseum in Jamsil, Seoul from May 8th to the 11th. Tickets will open for a capacity of 200 seats and can be purchased through Ticket Link from 3 PM on April 30th.

In the FC Online competition, two national teams from Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam will compete for a total prize pool of $150,000 and the ranking points needed to advance to the top national competition 'FC Pro Champions Cup'. The matches will be played in a best-of-five format with a mix of double elimination and single elimination. The Korean representatives will be Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce, who placed 1st and 2nd in the 'FSL Team Battle Spring' held in March.
In FC Mobile, two representatives from each country who passed the preliminary rounds of Korea, China, and Japan will compete for a total prize pool of 30,000 dollars and two tickets to the 'VISA Presents FC Pro Festival', an offline event to be held in Vietnam this year. In the preliminaries, two groups with three representatives from each country will play a full league, and the two players from each group with the highest points will advance to the semifinals. The semifinals will be played in a best-of-five format with three wins, and the finals will be played in a best-of-seven format with five wins. Woo Seo-jang and Lee Won-sang will be playing as Korean representatives.
On May 11, the last day of the tournament, an event match will be held to provide plenty of things to see. FC Online representative creators Yoo Bong-hoon, Doochi and Ppuku, and Bang Bae-woo will team up to compete against the FC Online global creator team in the 'SHOW MATCH', and one outstanding 'FC Online' rookie from each country will compete in the 'NEW GENERATION MATCH' to determine the best rookie.
Nexon will hold various events for users who visit the FC Pro Masters site and those who watch the live broadcast. 50,000 Nexon Cash will be gifted to those who watch the FC Online competition on site, and a 'Drops Event' will also be held for users who watch through the SOOP channel. 'FC Mobile' viewers will receive '5,000 FV'. Surprise coupons will also be provided in real time through the online live broadcast.
